Gold Coast Regional Morning Report: 6.20 am Monday, 7th March: Small lines of southerly groundswell are wrapping in around the chest to head-high plus mark across the regional magnets this morning, while wrapping at a notch or two smaller along the open beaches and points. Light NW winds around 5-10 knots aren't doing it too many favours, rendering the swell to complete mush along the points, while opening up slightly better, but still bumpy and textured conditions along the open beaches
Rest of the Day Outlook: Southerly groundswell gradually backs off as northerly winds freshen throughout the day, pretty well limiting options to sheltered northern corners making sense of the swell, while making a complete mess of things along the bays and open stretches. The tide is on its way out to a 11.20 am low and will run back in to a 5.00 pm high. Have a great Monday.
