Sunshine Coast Regional Morning Report (Monday 8th March 6:00am) The Southerly swell not making much of an impact across the regions beaches, with the south facing magnents attracting more of the swell. Average wave height on the more exposed locations is in the Waist to Shoulder high range with some larger set waves, a little smaller along Maroochydore and in those southern corners. Wave quality is fair earlier on being subject to light NW winds, the early high tide at 4:30am is starting to drain out making those waves on the outer banks start to shape up some more. Good options are the Northern Beaches and Kawana for size. Make the most of the morning surf as a forecast of NE winds will develop early on through the day.
Rest Of The Day Outlook: Wave quality and surf conditions will slowly deteriorate through the morning as the NE winds start to kick in. The northern corners will offer the best of the surf conditions, with the open beaches becoming wind affected. Expect wave height to be much the same. (Maroochydore Tides Low 11:12am High 4:42pm) Enjoy your day in the waves. Spinksy
