Northern NSW Regional Morning Report: 7.05 am Thursday, 25th February: It's a bit lumpy and junky, but there's waves; still arriving out of the SSE and east around the chest to head-high plus mark along the exposed beaches, and it's wrapping at about half the size inside Byron. Light onshore NE to ENE winds up to 10 knots aren't helping, but it's uncrowded, the water's warm at around 26 degrees, so go on, get out there. The tide is on its way in to an 8.12 am high and it will run out to a low at 2.40 pm, before returning to a 8.28 pm high. Rest of the Day Outlook: Combined SSE and easterly swells keep the good times rolling, maintaining fun-sized surf well suited to the open beaches, as onshore ENE winds continue to blow at around 10 knots, keeping conditions bumpy but doable all day. Have a good one.
